What a joke these things were. These senators coming in and telling the Police and Firemen how they shouldve done their jobs after 2 planes ram into the biggest buildings in their city.
"Oh maybe you couldve tried a rooftop rescue" Was Bruce Willis in the city that day? Also when the buldings fell I am pretty sure that the roof fell also.

Maybe they should've gathered the police and firemen on the steps of the capitol and have em sing God Bless America and let the Senators and the House trudge into the buildings.

Has there been any explanation yet as to why there was no air cover over the Pentagon after the second WTC attack?

....and 40 minutes later, the 3rd plane hit the Pentagon.

Here's one.

The members of the Bush adminsration who helped plan the 9/11 hijackings with the Saudis were double crossed by the overly ambitious hijackers.

The Bush crowd had intended only to have hijackings which would last a few hours until they could send in the troops to 'rescue' the poor passengers. This would energize Americans against evildoers from the Mideast without loss of lives.

But the Saudi hijackers had other plans and by the time GW Bush got thru taking a reading lesson from the Sarasota FL elementary school students, it was too late to order adequate air defense.
